The Challenge
When Canadian apparel and footwear retailer Mark’s decided to reinterpret its store planning, it looked to B+N Industries for solutions that would create a strong brand presence and highlight the product while resonating with Canadian values. Mark’s sought to overhaul its retail environment through the lens of B+N’s innovative products, aiming for a design that was repeatable, functional, and highly interchangeable.
The Solution
The B+N team devised a store planning strategy rooted in modularity and versatility, centered around the System 1224 and enhanced by the Fortina line. This approach was designed to showcase the potential for creating spaces that are both bold and singular, with a materials palette and fixtures flexible enough to adapt to any department’s needs. The envisioned design featured interchangeable panels, colors, and textures, aiming to brand each department distinctively while maintaining overall cohesion.
