In order to bring a breezy-but-sophisticated feel to a remodeled HQ in Silicon Valley, Studio Blitz recognized that getting rid of the old, enclosed spaces would do the trick. They turned to B+N Industries’ Fortina louvers in a warm oak finish for several interventions. First, they used louvers oriented vertically and spaced out to create discrete spaces, like the company’s lounge, meeting, and reception areas.
The team also used Fortina to create trellises that enclose collaboration spaces within larger open areas. Finally, they arranged the ceiling louvers in a grid pattern to create visual interest in the main, open office breakout space.
