At Asian Box, a California-based, fast-casual restaurant chain specializing in Asian street-style food, sustainability is the motivating force behind every decision. That includes decisions about the materials that go into the design of each location. For instance, Asian Box establishments are built with 35% reclaimed materials and FSC-certified wood.
When it came time to add decorative elements to a handful of Asian Box locations, B+N Industries’ Infused Veneer panels were the natural choice. The team specified an elegant cherry wood and had it printed with a weathered steel cladding motif from the Infused Veneer Raw Collection. Additionally, they had their restaurant’s logo printed on to a handful of these panels. Finally, in order to further evoke East and Southeast Asian imagery, a large Buddha head was printed onto a maple Infused Veneer panel.
